The main areas of action of the specialist, called endocrinologist, are: treatment of some types of cancer, morbid obesity, disorders of the pituitary gland, changes in the menstrual cycle, treatment and follow-up of diabetic patients and other diseases related to deficiency or excess of gastric juice.
